DAY 31 – WRITE ONE SMALL HABIT YOU WANT TO KEEP GOING
THEME: SUSTAINED GRACE
FOCUS: INTEGRATION, INTENTIONALITY, AND LASTING TRANSFORMATION
PRACTICE:
Take a few quiet moments today to reflect on the past month. You’ve practiced silence, prayer, rest, movement, generosity, and grace. You’ve made space to reconnect with God, with yourself, and with others. Now, ask: What’s one small habit I want to carry forward?
It doesn’t have to be dramatic. Maybe it’s lighting a candle in the morning. Pausing to breathe during the afternoon. Saying one kind thing to yourself daily. A weekly walk, a weekly prayer. Choose something that felt grounding, life-giving, or simply peaceful.
Write it down. Tape it to your mirror. Set a weekly reminder on your phone. Let it become part of your sacred rhythm, not just for Lent, but for the everyday.
REFLECTION:
Spiritual transformation rarely happens overnight. It happens in small, faithful steps. You’ve taken 31 of them. Each practice has been a seed planted. Some grew quickly. Some may take more time. But all are part of the journey.
This final day isn’t about achieving perfection—it’s about staying rooted in intention. You’ve been reminded that God’s grace meets you in silence, movement, laughter, community, and rest. What you choose to carry forward doesn’t have to be complicated—it just has to be true for you.
What gave you life? What made you feel close to God? What do you want to return to when life feels full or fragile again?
SCRIPTURE:
Let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.”
— Galatians 6:9 (NRSV)
Faith is not a sprint. It’s a journey of returning again and again—trusting that the small things matter, that the quiet habits form us, and that God walks beside us in it all. Even when we can’t yet see the fruit, God is nurturing something deep within us.
PRAYER:
Loving God,
Thank You for walking with me through this season.
Help me carry forward the small things that shaped my spirit.
Let this habit be more than routine—let it be relationship.
When I forget, call me back gently.
When I grow tired, strengthen me again.
May my life reflect Your grace, one day at a time.
Amen.
