Girls For A Change Girls For A Change is taking an incredible step forward in their work, and I’m so grateful to be part of it.

This summer, they are taking 18 girls to Ghana for a transformational leadership and cultural immersion experience—one that will invite them to explore identity, history, and storytelling in a deeply meaningful way.

This opportunity is especially close to my heart. As a child, traveling abroad with my own parents expanded my understanding of the world and shaped how I see community, culture, and connection. I know firsthand how powerful experiences like this can be—and I am honored to support these girls as they prepare for this journey.

As a board member, I am supporting this effort from home and partnering alongside the staff, board, chaperones, and participants as they launch a community-centered, organization-wide peer-to-peer fundraising campaign.

Chris and I are grateful to support this work—not only with our time, but also with our financial support—because we believe deeply in the impact this experience will have on these young women.
